Am I Alone?

Hair loss is extremely common

 — approximately 50% of men over 40 and 75% of women over 65 will experience some form of hair loss. Losing hair that you once had can be emotionally distressing and lead to higher levels of anxiety and depression.

Causes for hair loss include:

  • Age
  • Heredity
  • Hormonal changes
  • Medical conditions, such as lupus and diabetes
  • Poor nutrition
  • Side effects of a medical treatment, such as chemotherapy
  • Stress
  • Traumatic event(s)

What Treatments Exist?

Treatments to stop hair loss and possibly reverse it include hair transplant surgery, medications and laser therapy. As with any medication or surgical procedure there can be significant cost, time and risk involved.

What is Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)?

Low Level Laser Therapy uses laser lighting to stimulate hair growth in both men and women through a process similar to photosynthesis. So far, the procedure appears to have minimal side effects (although initial hair loss in the first 1-2 months is one rare but documented risk!). The effectiveness of LLLT varies with it working well for some and not for others.

How Hair Fibers Support You During Any Hair Loss Treatment

Hair fibers are an incredibly easy way to address thinning hair. They are cost-effective,  noninvasive and simple. They are made of 100% organic Keratin, a protein that is found in real hair. A natural magnetic charge in the hair fibers makes them static cling to your real hair, resulting in a fuller looking, lush head of hair. They work for men and women, and for all hair types. With no down time and no risk, hair fibers can be used as a standalone solution to hair loss, or as a support while you pursue another hair loss treatment strategy such as Low Level Laser Therapy.
